For many kids, the ability to play outside under limited supervision is their first taste of freedom. As they explore the neighborhood or even just the backyard, kids experience some limited version of independence. Bicycles ratchet up that independent feeling even further, as kids appreciate the ability to travel from place to place quickly and efficiently. And who doesn’t love the rush of wind in one’s hair?
But bicycles are old news, and children can hardly impress their friends by riding around the neighborhood on a rusty old bike. For them, a kids electric car is the pinnacle mode of transportation. These battery-operated vehicles are made to resemble race cars, motorcycles, go karts and even trucks. Electric cars also make for good practice years and years before a driving test is ever administered.
